The NOVOFAB Novo-Primo structural panels are manufactured from expanded polystyrene and wood-framing. Combining conventional wood-framing techniques and expanded polystyrene's efficiency, this wall is a prefabricated, high-performance insulation system providing R25 insulation, which exceeds the Novoclimat ^TM certification standards.

It has a seamless and rigid outside insulating envelope to avoid heat loss from wood components. To ensure the continuity of insulation between stories, the NOVOFAB system has an expanded polystyrene strip that covers the entire header joist. An acoustic membrane is also available as an option on this model.

The Novo-Primo wall eliminates thermal bridges by separating the structure from the outside face of the wall with insulation. This is the system's main feature.
