Like the Novo-Primo structural panels, the NOVOFAB Novo-Stand panels are manufactured from expanded polystyrene and wood-framing and represent a high-performance insulation system providing R25 insulation, which exceeds the Novoclimat ^TM certification standards.

What sets the Novo-Standard wall from the Novo-Primo, is that it contains R20 insulation fiber glass instead of being entirely filled with expanded polystyrene, which makes it a more economical choice. Furthermore, the acoustic membrane option is NOT available on this model.

It still offers a seamless and rigid outside insulating envelope to avoid heat loss from wood components and has an expanded polystyrene strip that covers the entire header joist. It also eliminates thermal bridges by separating the structure from the outside face of the wall with insulation.

Novo-Standard specifications

This wall does not require any additional insulation material to meet the new ecological energy standards. A simple polyethylene membrane must cover the inner wall to act as a vapour barrier.
